Job Title: Manufacturing Technician 1
Pay Rate: $15/hr
Duration: 8 Months
Location: Fort Payne, AL
Mon-Thurs - 3:30 PM--2:00 AM
Mon-Thurs - 5:00 AM-3:30 PM
- You will be trained to read blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications to determine operations required to convert raw material into finished products.
- You will set up and operate a variety of equipment, machines, and hand tools.
- You will use overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials and products.
- You will be trained to focus on quality and to have great attention to quality details while meeting your production targets.
- You will work with a team of highly motivated individuals who strive for success.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read, write, complete simple forms, and understand simple written instructions required.
- Ability to use basic shop math and precision measuring equipment.
- Ability to obtain forklift and overhead crane operating licenses.
- Blueprint reading experience preferred.
- Manufacturing/industrial experience preferred.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: Up to $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
