Marine Technician

Responsibilities

· New boat commission, new systems, custom request installs, sea trials

· Mechanical diagnostics, troubleshooting, general maintenance

· Testing engines, generators, propellers, steering and navigational equipment

· Spring & Fall commissioning of a vessel from 20’ – 86’

· Understanding the material, time and equipment required for work orders

· Constant communication with the Service Manager and Service Advisor

Requirements

· Qualified in both diesel & gas-powered vessels

· Mechanical background

· Knowledge of ac/dc systems preferred

· General boat knowledge

· Understanding of marine systems & vessel operation

· Experience in the marine industry preferred

· Passion for Boating & Delighting Clients

· High school or equivalent
