Marketing Assistant Job at First Community Bank Utah
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate marketing activities of the bank under the guidance of the Marketing Director. Ensuring marketing activities are in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Responsible for managing the department activities in the absence of the manager. This includes, but is not limited to, approving/disapproving advertisements, keeping in contact with vendors, keeping track of all deadlines.
- Maintains a directory and inventory of branch collateral materials and bank promotional items. Ensures all resources are current and accurate; and coordinates the creation and delivery of new materials as needed including HPG Gift inventory
- Responsible for coordinating and/or creating updates to marketing materials.
- Identifies needs and ensures that each branch/department is continually and adequately supplied with marketing collateral materials, branded stationary supplies, product promoting signage and regulatory signage as needed.
- Perform a variety of other advanced clerical and secretarial support unique to marketing including weekly reporting and branch pipeline distribution
- Gathers information to create collateral material for individual or group marketing efforts.
- Monitors and assists in maintaining company social media accounts.
- Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
- Stays informed about the market, industry trends, and the competitive landscape, while helping strategize and implement marketing, branding, and advertising plans with Marketing Director.
- Responsible for overseeing and executing new customer onboarding program on a weekly basis.
About You:
High school diploma or equivalent.- Ability to multi-task and handle complex tasks efficiently. Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal, written and proofreading skills
- Strong attention to detail
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:
Skilled in all secretarial and office practices including typing accurately. Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Reader, Adobe Acrobat DC, Microsoft Word, Excel. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator preferred but not required.
Communication: Because marketing coordinators are responsible for coordinating tasks among all marketing team members and project vendors, verbal and written communication skills are crucial.- Project management: Marketing coordinators often have numerous projects ongoing at one time. Strong project management skills will help with organizing, planning and completing each of these projects.
- Creativity: Marketing coordinators are often tasked with creating marketing materials, so creativity skills can be useful.
- Analytical: Analyzing marketing initiatives’ results can be just as important as planning them. Analytical skills will assist the marketing coordinator in interpreting the success of a marketing campaign and making the necessary changes to improve results.
- Technology: A good understanding of technology can be useful in the marketing coordinator role. Marketing coordinators often work with computers, mobile phones and tablets to coordinate digital communication and strategies. They may also use computers to create and design marketing materials.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator), Adobe Acrobat DC, Adobe Premiere Pro, Excel, Google Analytics, content management systems (CMS), and photography.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
