Who You Are:

An outgoing and highly motivated independent problem-solver. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, organized, and have an appreciation of aesthetics. As a Kingston Office-Marketing Assistant, you will be integral support to our marketing and merchandising team, as well as work with other departments at Kingston. Individuals who have experience or a strong interest in copywriting, plumbing products, and graphics will be able to further develop those skills in this role. This role will be working on marketing and product management-related tasks, whilst contributing to browning the brand and communicating our extensive product offering more effectively. This role will report to the Marketing Director and is ideal for an ambitious self-starter with an interest in learning marketing and the Kingston Brass Brand.

Responsibilities:

The Office-Marketing Assitant will be responsible for general marketing-related tasks: basic copywriting, organizing data and files, research, preparing or helping with graphics-related tasks, and working between other departments to complete inter-connected projects.

• Copywriting: including but not limited to titles, and descriptions.
• Ideation: identify opportunities for Kingston to explore
• Market Research: identify trends and new developments in the kitchen and bath space. Study how other brand strategies and connect them to Kingston's brand growth.
• Graphic editing: From basic organizing of assets to full production (varies by skill level).
• Learn systems, operations, and digital tools to further develop kingston’s marketing initiatives.
• Liaise cross-departmentally between Marketing, Customer Experience, Operations, and Product teams to help complete projects.
• Identify opportunities and drive solutions to enable efficiency, specifically thinking about automation and operational efficiencies to help grow and scale Kingston.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Intermediate in Microsoft-Word/Excel &/or Google Docs/Sheets

Extras:

• Home improvement, interior design &, or plumbing knowledge is a plus.
• Experience working with digital marketing tools: e.g. Adobe Create Suite/ mail chimp, canvas, and social media platforms.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Marketing experience: at least 1 Year Preferred
• Marketing-related higher education. (Degree or class experience).
