This collaborative position will focus on enhancing our marketing and pursuit deliverables to generate leads and create opportunities for the business. We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team, bring forth bold ideas and further our ability to connect with clients, partners and communities through our marketing and communications efforts.


Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the strategy, development and execution of strategic MarComm plans for our U.S. buildings and civil operations
  • Apply benefit and differentiator principles to marketing materials
  • Editing and/or writing clear and concise marketing content for appropriate mediums
  • Collaborate on and produce innovative marketing collateral that leverages PCL branding and influences perceptions of targeted audiences
  • Research and verify the accuracy of information
  • Planning and coordination of external market sector-focused events
  • Collaborating with MarComm team and internal subject matter experts to produce qualifications packages
  • Participating in proposal (RFP) process, sharing valid ideas and occasionally producing proposals or presentations as needed
  • Coordination and tracking of marketing initiatives and associated results
  • Management of client lists
  • Working with minimal direction required

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or advertising
  • Minimum of three years’ progressive experience in a related role either within a corporation or an agency setting
  • Knowledge of marketing fundamentals, Search Engine Optimization best practices, and social media strategies
  • Strong writing skills and ability to communicate clearly
  • Strong proofreading skills
  • Minimum one year of experience with SOQ/RFQ and proposals
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of organization
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity
  • Proactive, results-oriented with an ability to handle tight deadlines
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Strong knowledge and competency with InDesign (Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Experience developing marketing content in the context of construction, engineering, or architecture is an asset
  • Understanding of construction terminology and delivery methods with the ability to readily grasp concepts and technical processes is also an asset

Working Conditions:


This is an in-office position with some flexibility.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 depdendent upon experience.
