Servpro of Crowley & South Johnson County is seeking an individual who is a “high achiever” to fill a key leadership role. As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for hiring, managing, training, and motivating the marketing team. You will drive our marketing campaigns, including e-marketing resources, oversee the contact database, develop presentation materials, and maintain an active presence at local and regional association and trade show events. You will also be expected to be making contacts on a daily basis with new customers to educate them with the services provided by Servpro of Crowley.
This job is not a “behind the desk” position, it will be a face-to-face interaction with potential customers. Commissions will be paid for work performed by Servpro of Crowley to customers that experience losses, which are recruited/assigned to the individual.
Job Requirements:
  • Two + years sales, marketing, or customer service experience, with demonstrated history of sales or marketing ability and growth
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
  • Have a up-to-date driver’s license, with no moving violations in the past 3 years.
  • Have a reliable form of transportation
  • Be able to pass a drug test
  • Familiar with restoration business services
  • Experience in building construction, residential or commercial, a plus
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Experience in building a strong team with tangible leadership skills
  • Solid organization and planning capabilities, strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to easily meet people in new or difficult situations and build rapport
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment while being very self-motivated, goal-oriented, and multi-tasker
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business or equivalent experience
  • Experience with professional sales or marketing associations a plus

Job Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service is Number One!
2. Recruit and hire sales and marketing staff, evaluate sales and marketing staff performance, supervise marketing administrative tasks
3. Complete annual marketing needs assessment, including planning the number of CE classes and topics, planning the number of lunch-and-learns and topics, scheduling the budget, and developing action plans for centers of influence (COIs)
4. Identify revenue, collection, and activity goals; compare past and projected revenues to marketing goals; establish goals for revenue and activities
5. Develop marketing initiatives and budget, create annual marketing plan
6. Increase sales revenue and achieve sales goals by training and developing sales and marketing staff, monitoring and coaching sales/marketing activities, and providing marketing materials
7. Develop your own contact lists of potential customers, aside from individuals you are supervising.
Pay and Benefits
Base salary (depending on experience) plus commission with uncapped potential increases based on sales. 10 paid holidays per year, company vehicle, employer assisted health care benefits, paid sick leave, bonuses and company activities.
This is a full-time position working varying hours between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. It will be in a professional office environment. Travel is up to 90% of your time. This will be primarily local during the business day, although some after hour’s activities, out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be required.
