Material Handler Job at FORGE RESOURCES GROUP
Job Description
Forge Resources Group is a leader in closed-die near net metal forgings and fabricated assemblies serving diverse industries including aerospace, mining/drilling, railroad, shipbuilding, off-road/ag and other heavy equipment manufacturers.
We are looking for a Material Handler to manage the steel in our DeKalb, IL steel yard.
Responsibilities:
- Pull and stage material in designated staging area
- Return bundles to assigned locations
- Maintain yard organization
- Appropriately tag bundles
- Communicate with saw department
- Assist with weighing tubs of cut material
- Unload material from flatbeds
Requirements:
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Ability to work in different temperatures
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to do basic math
Forge Resources Group is a Drug Free Workplace. Candidates must pass a pre-employment Drug Screen, physical and detailed background check. The Drug Screen includes screening for all drugs that are illegal under federal law, regardless of state or local ordinances.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
