THE ROLE

The Material Handler will be responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy while ensuring material is distributed to appropriate locations. This position will be the conduit of incoming and outgoing materials to the production process, ensuring conformance with client expectations and company standards. Background check required upon offer acceptance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and control inventory integrity

• Conduct cycle counts on incoming and currently stocked materials, using reconciliations to resolve any variances

• Ability to execute material transactions to support customers

• Deliver material to customers to support operational tasks

• Support continuous improvement efforts as it relates to inventory management, and utilize 5S principles in workplace organization and cleanliness

SKILLS AND MUST-HAVES

• 1 - 3 years of manufacturing inventory experience

• Experience with inventory management, cycle counts, and Kanban

• Experience with MRP/ERP software, InFlow experience preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Access and Excel

• Knowledge of material flows in a factory environment

• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
