Your responsibilities
Summary: Prioritizes, directs, monitors and assists material flow from Engineering pre-release thru material delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not all inclusive)- Compliance with company, legal, and regulatory requirements for Health, Safety, and Environmental topics in order to foster a culture of Health & Safety.
- Supports and collaborates with intercompany purchasing and planning team members located at other tkSY location(s).
- Monitor, evaluate and follow the master schedule to ensure timely delivery of material and verify component availability before releasing planned orders.
- Supports prioritization of Releases/Requisitions and monitoring of Planned Orders for timely purchase and delivery.
- Identifies material to expedite that may delay required delivery schedules as a result of unforeseen conditions.
- Assists cost center managers in establishing material priorities and provides status of critical shortages to ensure corrective action is instituted.
- Coordinates engineering release/change material dates and date changes associated with ECN.
- Monitor and transfer plant stock inventory to meet production schedules and assist Logistics and Purchasing with material returns and inventory maintenance.
- Close out production orders and verify material of shipped projects and coordinate with program managers/Engineering/Purchasing to determine material disposition (Plant stock, scrap, return).
- Supports the project teams in the development, loading and maintenance of schedules into the company scheduling tool.
- Supports and lead development and improvement of the company scheduling tool.
Your profile
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with Supply chain or Data Analytics focus is preferred, with 2 years of applicable work experience or an equivalent combination of education/experience and/or training/education.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and Visual Basic programming experience is preferred.
- Past work experience using project management scheduling software (i.e. workfront)
