Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Materials Management & Transportation First Line Manager (level K) to join our Supply Chain Organization in Titusville, FL.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages and integrates employee’s activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation.
• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
• Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift

Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements:

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

This position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility. This is a sensitive/safety-sensitive position and is subject to NASA (DOT) random drug and alcohol testing.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• More than 3 years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• More than 3 years of experience with Material Requirements Planning, including the use of Compass Contract or a similar MRP system.
• More than 3 years of experience in any of the following structured material release/inventory systems: Shop Floor, System Applications & Products (SAP).

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
