Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Review of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) design documents like drawings, Specifications (Specs), The Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR), and Basis of Design (BOD) to evaluate energy efficiency.
• Perform measurement, verification, commissioning, or retro-commissioning.
• Provide Prepare and develop Pre-Functional and Functional Testing forms in compliance with green building practices.
• Collect data for energy conservation analyses, using jobsite observation, field inspections, or submetering.
• Periodic visits to site for observation and acceptance of pre-Functional tests.
• Inspect or monitor energy system, including heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) to determine energy use or potential energy savings.
• Carrying out Functional tests (FT) of MEP equipment on site to verify the proper installation of new or relocated HVAC equipment per green building practices.
• Prepare energy-related project reports or related documentation.
• Preparing documents like Current Facility Requirement (CFR)and Operation and Maintenance (O&M)plan, Systems Manual, Ongoing Commissioning (Cx) plan, Cx summary report etc. Post FT
• Post- Occupancy review at 10 months post occupancy

• 
  Minimum requires bachelor’s degree major in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or foreign degree equivalent, plus 2 years of training in Mechanical System, building design and Construction.
• 2 years of experience in Commissioning services (aternatively, a combination of education, experience and /or training that is equivalent to a degree is acceptable)
• Requires LEED certification AP or candidates who are eligible to be certified by GBCI.
• Requires ability to use Bluebeam, Procore, Blureithm, Building Management Systems, infrared thermometer and light meter.
• Requires 50% of work time to visit various project sites located in south Florida (Palm beach county, Broward county, and Miami-Dade County)
