he Mechanical Engineer will provide mechanical engineering services to the Rolling department to safely meet Arconic’s business plan for engineering, production, maintenance, and quality standards. In this role, you will serve as a critical team member to optimize the safety, efficiency, output, and quality of our manufacturing processes. This position is responsible for mechanical system integration for assigned area projects to create, sustain, or improve manufacturing equipment and processes.

• tilize project management tools for the successful implementation of both sustaining and new capital improvement projects C
• oordinate all phases of assigned area mechanical engineering projects from concept, scope development, written specifications, bid solicitations, design, manufacturing, equipment commissioning, and project closure F
• ocus on tactical projects in the areas of safety, recovery improvement, machine reliability, training, and production L
• ead and support the execution of problem-solving efforts related to process and machine improvements A
• lthough the person in this position works primarily daytime shifts M-F, it is expected that they work off-shifts and/or weekends as needed to support the functions of this role. #

• achelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Ag Engineering from an accredited institution M
• inimum 1 year of Engineering experience in a manufacturing industry (co-op and internships may be included) E
• xcellent verbal & written communication skills with the ability to work & interact at all levels of an organization T
