Insight Eye Care is an Optometric practice that focuses on specialized eye care for our patients. We strive to create an environment where our patients and staff feel comfortable and respected. Patient service is extremely important and is what drives the mission of our practice.
We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic person to provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping people, detail oriented, and personable. The job requires computer and technology skills as well as the ability to work as a team player while multitasking. Training is provided . No experience necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Input of patient medical history, allergies, and medications into the electronic medical records system (EMR-specifically Compulink). Perform routine testing. Update EMR with test results. Assist the Doctor(s) with patient examination and treatment. Refill prescriptions utilizing the ERX system. Promptly respond to messages from patients, pharmacists, and other Doctors. Maintain and sanitize all medical equipment. The candidate will also be cross trained to perform front desk duties . Those include: Answering phones, setting appointments, coordinating the flow of patients in the office, verifying insurance benefits, and collecting patient payments at completion of visit.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
