Medical Assistant Job at Vascular Specialists of Central Florida
Vascular Specialists of Central Florida is a single specialty group of Vascular Specialists, solely dedicated to the treatment of the body’s arteries and veins. We strive to serve our patients with the highest quality of care in vascular health. We specialize in vascular surgery, vascular medicine, endovascular surgery, and vascular imaging. We are looking for candidates that have great customer service and who want to be a part of a great team. We have five locations Orlando, Clermont, Dr. Phillips, Apopka, and Oviedo that our medical assistants travel to throughout the week.
Our medical assistants need to either have a diploma from an accredited school or be certified as a medical assistant. Some of the job duties consist of but are not limited to are;
- Rooming patients by taking vitals.
- Updating medical history.
- Suture and staple removal.
- Wound care.
- Compression stockings measurements.
- Prep charts and obtaining medical records to get the patient ready to see the physician.
- Instrument cleaning, autoclave cleaning and weekly spore tests.
- Scribe and putting in orders for providers while in room with patients.
