Currently Seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join the team at a fast-paced and well known Pediatrics office in Waterbury, CT.

optimizes the health of our families. Job Description: As a member of the patient care team you will be responsible for rooming patients, vital intake,

chief complaint, patient & parent education, understanding vaccine schedules, in-office testing such as strep, flu, mono, glucose, lead, etc. and

assisting providers and nursing staff.

Must Haves:

• High School Diploma with preference for Certified Medical Assistant credential
• 1-2 years of experience in a physician office or clinical environment
• Proficiency in administrative tasks
• Basic understanding of clinical tasks
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Works well under pressure
• Good time management
• Strong computer skills
• EMR experience preferred – Greenway/Intergy practice system

Schedule:

Monday- Friday: 8am-7pm (Split into 2 shifts, 7:45am-5pm or 10:45am-7pm)

Saturday: 8:30am-4pm

Sunday: 8:30am-1pm

• Mas are required to close at least one night a week (closing shift is 10:45am-7pm)
• MAs are required to work at least one weekend a month
