We are actively seeking experienced Medical Laboratory Technicians to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in helping us provide accurate and timely diagnoses for our patients. The ideal candidate will have a degree or certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology, and be certified by a national accrediting agency such as ASCP, AMT, or NCA.

Job Type: Contract
Shift: 07:00-19:30, 23:00-07:30
Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension
Guaranteed hours: 36/week | 40/week
Location: Westerville, Ohio 43081
Salary: $32/hr- $46/hr
Medical Technologist Responsibilities:
- Preparing biological samples for testing, including tissue, blood, urine, spinal fluid, and gastric juices.
- Performing serological, bacteriological, biochemical, hematological, and microbiological examinations on samples.
- Conducting blood group, type, and compatibility tests, as well as full blood counts.
- Counting the cells in prepared samples, as wells as microorganisms, including bacteria or parasites.
- Analyzing biochemical composition and determining the presence of drug chemicals.
Medical Technologist Requirements:
- Bachelor of science degree with a focus on medical technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or similar.
- BLS from American Heart Association
- Professional American Medical Technologists (AMT) designation preferred.
- 2 years of experience as a medical technologist.
