The premier medical practice of Simmons MD – Advanced Weight Loss Solutions is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join its team!

Simmons MD – Advanced Weight Loss Solutions is a weight management and digestive health practice that opened in 2023 in Aventura, FL.

Simmons MD – Advanced Weight Loss Solutions is in search of front desk receptionist for our Aventura clinic.

The ideal candidate(s) will be team player(s) who carry out assigned tasks to assist our providers deliver exceptional healthcare to our patients.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

· Strong oral and written communication skills to efficiently interact with patients, physicians, co-workers, etc.

· Understanding of health insurance and patient financial responsibility

· Ability to coordinate multiple time-sensitive task in detail

· Excellent time management skills

Daily tasks include:

· Greeting patients over the phone and in-person in a professional and customer-friendly manner

· Monitor and respond to patient inquiries through email, social media, and other electronic media

· Data entry of patient demographics

· Schedule appointments for patient consults and procedures

· Collection of Payments (co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles)

· Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (Preferred)
  • Customer Service

Language:

· English proficiency (Required)

  • Spanish proficiency (Required)

Schedule:

· Monday through Friday

· Saturdays as needed

  • Aventura, FL
