Full-time position available for a large busy Family Practice group. Duties for our Receptionists include excellent customer service skills, greeting of patients, patient registration, processing paperwork, verification of insurance, collections of current and past due balances, and answering telephones. Must be detailed oriented and have basic computer skills with proficiency in Excel and Word. EMR training is provided. Our Receptionists have access to an enhanced benefit package.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
· High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
· Requires proficiency in Word and Excel.
· Requires familiarity with medical diagnoses and insurance billing.
· Ability to lift at least 51 lbs. on a regular basis and physically be able to help patients that may require assistance.
· Proficient working knowledge and ability to accurately and timely operate and perform computer related tasks with specific equipment and software applications required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
