Medical Practice Manager Job at Family Allergy and Asthma Care
About us:
Family Allergy & Asthma Care has locations in Flower Mound and Denton TX. Our board-certified allergists, experienced PAs, and friendly office staff are devoted to addressing the underlying issues of allergies and asthma.
Our firm is seeking a Practice Manager to work with our Executive team to create and implement comprehensive policies and programs related to clinical operations. Responsibilities include supervision of clinical staff, preparation and review of work schedules, analysis of staff utilization, coordination of staffing issues, developing and administering of training programs, data collection and analysis and providing support for other areas within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the financial health of an organization.
- Review and approve invoices and accounting entries.
- Engage in administrative activities such as data entry, report writing, etc.
- Review procedures and provide advice to staff.
- Monitor work flow and staff productivity.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred. Will consider an Associate Degree with the appropriate medical practice management experience.
- Minimum 5 + years experience in a private practice setting; allergy practice a plus.
- Knowledge and experience in payor contracting and payor relations are a plus.
- Superior ability to manage relationships; work effectively within a multidisciplinary team of clinical and administrative staff.
- Ability to develop and maintain clear and consistent lines of communication to ensure all employees are aware of practice goals, priorities, and guidelines and deliver the highest quality empathic patient care/services.
