Professional Health Care of Pinellas is seeking a friendly, energetic, and experienced Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy team.
The primary responsibilities include greeting patients, check in/check out, collecting payment, scheduling, insurance verification and confirming patient appointments. Provide professional administrative support following established standards and practices. The ideal candidate has strong customer service and a willingness to do any administrative task to support the patient and clinic.
Qualifications and Skills
2 years experience working in a related medical office position is required with EMR (prefer Eclinicalworks) and Availity experience.
Basic knowledge of Medical Terminology and healthcare regulations
Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures of a medical clinic
Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
Well organized and detail oriented
Excellent Customer Service skills, Interpersonal skills and excellent Communication skills (oral and written)
Possess high professional demeanor
Ability to collaborate with others
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
Work Attendance important
Bilingual preferred.
