Founded in November of 2020, Pain Physicians of Wisconsin is a group of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and a great group of support staff serving the southeast region of Wisconsin. Position Summary
Preparing patient charts daily.
- Ensuring medical records are organized and complete.
- Requesting medical records from outside organizations.
- From PCP
- PT Offices
- Radiology departments
- Responding to patient request for their own records (ROI)
- For themselves
- Another provider
- Insurance company
- Worker’s Comp or Disability Claims
- Responding to Attorney request
- For certified medical records
- Narrative Reports
- WKC-16B
- Handling phone requests.
- Transferring of care requests.
- Providing continuity of care outside providers when requested.
- Preparing invoices and maintaining balance sheet for medical records billings.
- Maintaining a log to ensure all requests have been completed in timely manner.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year in Medical Records field.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong data entry skills
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy
- Basic computer skills to scan, organize and access electronic health records
- Time management skills
- HIPAA Compliance
- Understanding of company Policy and Procedures
