Job Summary

If you like building relationships, meeting people and have a strong food and beverage background, this is the perfect role for you. This position is an integral member of the management team and wears two hats – Membership Director and Food and Beverage Manager. As the Membership Director, you will grow membership and ensure their experience at the Club makes them want to return day after day. A rich and robust calendar of events, warm hospitality, and – your second hat – a terrific food and beverage offering help make that happen.


As the Food and Beverage Manager, you are tasked with delivering an impeccable service experience in our restaurant. This position owns the entire restaurant operation at the University Club as well as the execution of banquets events at our three venues.


Essential Functions – Membership Director:

  • Work closely with the General Manager and marketing firm to develop and coordinate initiatives to grow membership.
  • Provide prospective members with tours of the property and service information, following up to close the sale.
  • Plan, execute, and own membership events and member clubs to promote retention and general membership experience.
  • Report weekly activities and results via scorecard.

Essential Functions – Food and Beverage Manager:

  • Hire, train, schedule, and manage all front of house team members for both the restaurant and banquets.
  • Lead the charge to deliver an amazing customer experience.
  • Ensure labor cost goals are met.
  • Creation and maintenance of beverage menus.
  • Beverage and bar supply inventory and ordering for both the restaurant and events.
  • Ensure the flawless execution of member and private events.

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years as a manager
  • Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques
  • Computer savvy
