Our Sales team is searching for professional go-getters to start as Merchandisers / Sales Trainees with Craft Massachusetts.

Opportunities, on Tap! Craft Massachusetts, a leading beverage distributor and member of Sheehan Family Companies, has an excellent full-time opportunity in our sales department. We are currently looking for a Merchandiser / Sales Trainee for Worcester / Acton / Marlborough / Sturbridge / Charlton / Shrewsbury / Westborough. This position is a hands-on, entry level role that will provide you valuable knowledge and experience in the beverage and distribution industry. The position is Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, mostly spent in the Trade within the aforementioned towns. The position will touchdown as needed at our headquarters in Everett for POS and graphics. All trainings and sales meetings are also hosted from Everett. This individual is responsible for providing necessary support to ensure the successful sale and distribution of all company products throughout the assigned territory. As a Merchandiser, you will liaise with our delivery team at the larger off premise accounts in the territory, ensuring orders are unpacked and displayed for optimal salability. We are looking for a responsible, energetic individual with a solid work ethic to join and contribute to our team.

What you will be doing:

• Develop rapport with assigned customer base and promote the good will of the company
• Ensure that all product is rotated and code policy is followed
• Proper merchandising of accounts with permanent and paper POS
• Conduct promotions in accounts on a regular basis or when required
• Organize and execute floor displays and placement of window neon's and banners at all accounts
• Execute monthly goals as related to business activities
• Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in assigned area
• Other duties as assigned

What you will need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or marketing preferred
• Certified Beer Server preferred
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Valid and clean driver's license with active auto insurance
• Ability and willingness to work independently
