Role Description:

This position is directly responsible for the receiving and inventory management of stock and special order window and door products in our warehouses. This position is also involved with the loading and delivery of stock and special order items to insure accuracy and predictability. This function will keep yard locations filled with stock items, assist in loading customers with needed products, handle customer returns, and properly receive and document incoming products.

Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm

Starting Salary Range: Competitive (based on qualifications)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Commitment to customer service above all else
• Portray a positive customer service attitude, instill in others, and lead by example
• Receive daily deliveries of vendor shipments, check paperwork for accuracy of order, unloading of trucks, and stocking of items including special order doors and windows
• Manage all parcel shipments that enter the facility (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.)
• Label incoming units with date and item info
• Responsible for stocking items in various facility locations in clean, neat and organized fashion
• Responsible for returned material brought in by customers. Ensure RMR is accurate and any inventory is properly re-stocked quickly. Aid in unloading of materials if needed
• Inform purchasing of low stock items
• Turn in paperwork to purchaser when items are received
• Assist with other staging functions for delivery team when needed
• Assist drivers with loading trucks as needed

Skills Needed:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or six months related experience and/or training
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence
• Good Customer service skills as well as communication skills
• Ability to use general office equipment effectively including fax, copy machine, and adding machine

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and talk or hear.
• Often required to sit, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds. Occasionally required to lift more than 100 lbs

• Regularly required to work near moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather conditions, and vibration. Often required to work with fumes or airborne particles. Occasionally required to work in high, precarious places
