What You’ll Do

The Mixer Operator position at Washington Mills Ceramics is responsible for batching the dry ingredients for each formula and running the appropriate mix cycles to produce our extrusion feedstock.

• Batch and mix the formulas per the daily schedule
• Coordinate movement of raw materials to the mixing mezzanine
• Monitor moisture content and results for every batch
• Perform daily safety and PM audits of mixing equipment
• Document all batch information and label every tote or barrel with the designated form
• Coordinate with the Production Manager the results of the moisture levels for high-density formulas
• Always maintain a clean and safe work environment

What You’ll Need

To be successful in this position, you must:

• Prior industrial experience is preferred
• Training will be provided for all equipment specific to our operation
