Job Description
Performs routine scanning procedures for the MRI unit. Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures. Ensures a high quality of produced images. Responsible for availability and sterility of supplies used for assigned area. Performs other related duties as assigned. May be cross-trained in other specialties.
Performs routine scanning procedures for the MRI unit. Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures. Ensures a high quality of produced images. Responsible for availability and sterility of supplies used for assigned area. Performs other related duties as assigned. May be cross-trained in other specialties.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences. AART registration in radiologic technologist
Specialty registration in MR and/or CT preferred.
Experience: One to two years experience in MR and/or CT preferred.
Licenses/Certificates: ARRT preferred. ARRT specialty designation in MR required within one year of hire date.
Current BLS certification.
