Job Summary

• This position is responsible for working directly with patients and assisting radiologists and/or staff physicians while performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations in concordance with Physicians orders.
• This professionally trained person will be responsible for the operation of MRI scanners, flow rate injectors, patient monitoring systems, and a picture archiving system.
• This position is responsible for the use of radiographic supplies including gadolinium contrast while providing patient care and patient safety as established by department standards.
• This position is responsible for performing a variety of basic secretarial, clerical and housekeeping functions such as customer service, examination and work area cleaning, telephone communications, computer system data entry, information retrieval, (HIS, RIS, PACS), and infection control.
• This position, in addition to superb technical skills, will also require the ability to follow the CRMC service commitments to customers and fellow staff.
• Position assures compliance and upholding of the Medical Center’s policy of non-discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, physical or mental handicap, pregnancy or veteran status.
• Position may interact with all ages of patients, guests, staff and others.

Program of Study

Required

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.

Certification & Licensures

• Radiological Technologist
• BLS Healthcare Provider

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
