At Jackson River we are looking for a full-time Project Manager to be based remotely within the U.S. and work with our talented, skilled, and passionate team on technical solutions for some of the world's most influential nonprofit organizations. This individual must have superior client service skills, a solid understanding of project management tools and techniques, and a knack for breaking down large-scale software projects into manageable parts. We're currently searching for an experienced Project Manager to join us. Our platform, Springboard, is used by clients like the ASPCA, International Rescue Committee, Drug Policy Alliance, and the ACLU to power their digital fundraising and advocacy programs. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven ability to strategize as a natural leader, this person should have strong talent for project management and delegation. Ultimately, the project manager should be motivated by a desire to optimize productivity. We're looking for a confident leader who can guide cross-functional teams. The driving force behind our business growth is a skilled and dedicated project management team. We're searching for a highly skilled, dedicated, experienced and qualified project manager. The ideal candidate will have technical experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans. The project manager will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that our goal are achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Lead contact for day-to-day interactions with clients on large-scale software Implementations, system integrations, and other technology consulting projects.
  • Coordinate activities with other client vendors such as design firms, CRM consultants, or ESP specialists to deliver holistic solutions to clients.
  • Develop internal and client facing project timelines, milestones, budget reports, technical requirements, and user documentation for projects.
  • Assist and guide clients in making complex technical decisions based on business goals, strategic objectives, and known best practices.
  • Manage a team of developers and producers to deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • Provide clients the highest level of customer service at every step in the process.
  • Manage projects to SOW deliverables and budget.

Requirements

  • 5+ years project management experience in client facing software implementation/delivery in all levels of SDLC.
  • 2+ years Salesforce implementation/administration experience is a must, particularly with Non-Profit Success Pack (NPSP) or NGOC.
  • Experience with Drupal or similar CMS; programming skills not required but comfort and confidence in configuring and navigating these systems is necessary.
  • Experience with development and implementation of new projects including Salesforce and internal system integrations.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous client engagements/projects while delivering unparalleled customer service.
  • Extensive experience with CMS, eCRM, Blogs, fundraising, ESPs, and advocacy software.
  • Basic understanding of online marketing, fundraising, and social networking strategies.
  • Big picture thinking with absolute attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
  • Ability to lead multi-functional teams, keeping them on schedule and on budget.
  • Understanding of current web tools and trends within nonprofit organizations.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization across functional business areas.
  • Ability to work independently (and the discipline to work remotely).
  • Ability to plan and lead meetings with clear goals.
  • Project/task scoping and estimation experience.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.

Preferred, but not required

  • Experience in working with or for nonprofit organizations.
  • Fundraising, Online Marketing, & Social Media strategies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools.

Salary Range Disclosure

The base range represents the low and high end of the Togetherwork salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Togetherwork's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary bonuses, long term incentives, a flexible paid vacation/personal time policy, 6 weeks paid parental leave and more.
