Montessori School of Silicon Valley is looking to hire Preschool Teachers for our Primary Community at our Calaveras Montessori campus. Our Primary Community cares for children ages 3-6 years old, following a traditional Montessori philosophy. This is an entry-level position with great opportunities to grow both in the Primary community as well as other age levels throughout the Montessori environments.
Duties Include:
- working in a collaborative group environment
- supervision of children in the classroom
- following directions through a lead teacher
- assisting in meals and food preparation
- spending large amounts of time on your knees working with the children individually
The ideal candidate would:
- have a positive attitude
- flexibility within the classroom environment
- own form of transportation to and from work
- positive communication
