Nursing Education Instructor - RUHS - MH Nursing Administration Job at County of Riverside
The County of Riverside - Riverside University Health System- MH Nursing Administration is seeking a Nursing Education Instructor for the Mental Health Quality, Education, and Legal Department located in Riverside. The Nursing Education Instructor is responsible for the following:
- Management and coordination of quality assurance and performance improvement of nursing staff education.
- Oversees the curriculum development, training planning, coordination, and implementation on identified knowledge gaps.
- Collaborate with other internal and/or external departments and agencies to coordinate any needed training.
- Planning and implementation of online, in person & hybrid education.
- Maintaining the nursing education and competencies for patient care.
- Teaching and/or co-teaching various classes (Basic Life Support, Non-violent Crisis Intervention, CNA CEUs).
- Support clinical advancements of nurses.
- Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following:
- BSN
- Psychiatric Nursing/Educator experience
- Bilingual (Spanish)
There is also a $2.50 per hour critical care differential added to base rate.
Work Schedule: 5/40 M-F
