Olive Branch utilizes Occupational Therapy practices and guidelines for assessments and offer interventions to develop, recover, or maintain the meaningful activities, or occupations of an individual regardless of the diagnosis. Our focus is on therapeutic interventions that focus on cognitive function and IADL's. Olive Branch has been serving the needs of TBI individuals for 10 years and is looking to grow in the Bergen, Essex and Somerset County areas.

Scope of work: Part-Time. Will encompass approximately 2 hour in-person visits for providing compensatory strategies that support the individuals performance of daily activities and living independently. You will be addressing personal, social, emotional, physical needs of each person served.

Responsible for: Using technology such as your smart phone for timesheet/contact notes, reporting progress, supporting individual goals of each person served, providing therapeutic/compensatory strategies that compliment the person's capabilities and learning styles, provide motivation and encouragement. Keeping weekly schedules and consistent visits with all individuals served.

Requirements: Graduate of an accredited OTA program (will accept in-process), Current or future NJ State OTA license, experience with TBI individuals or similar diagnosis's or characteristics.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $33.00 - $40.00 per hour
