- Professional Learning Facilitation
- Plans strategies for inservice, continuing education and community education initiatives. Establishes partnerships with stakeholder groups.
- Manages the development and implementation of practicum, courses and training in inservice, continuing education, and community education.
- Instructional Design
- Conducting needs assessments that identify partnering schools’ specific requirements and desired learning outcomes
- Instructional Coaching
- The incumbent will conduct coaching activities by: (1) Practicing coaching competencies and applying them to coaching conversations with individuals or teams or throughout a project or school; (2) Promoting an open, flexible, and confident coaching relationship with teachers and establishing mutual respect and trust in a safe, supportive environment; (3) Applying ethics and standards appropriately in all coaching situations; (4) Demonstrating active listening, asking powerful questions, and using effective dialogue and feedback techniques to provide maximum benefit to participating educators; (5) Integrating and evaluating multiple sources of data and making interpretations that help participating educators achieve agreedupon results; (6) Designing actions and opportunities for ongoing learning that will most effectively lead to coaching results; and (7) Developing and maintaining an effective coaching plan with participating educators, managing ongoing progress, holding clients accountable for actions, highlighting and celebrating success, and closing the coaching process.
- Participant Management
- To support the communication with project sponsors and local schools, the incumbent will (1) document participant management using a sponsored research participant management system (TREK); (2) coordinate with local school administrators and learning teams to plan and deliver technologyenriched learning community professional development as prescribed in the grants including monthly sessions; (3) travel to grant schools to provide technology enriched learning community professional development which fosters teacher interaction, mentoring, and collaboration to integrate technology into teaching and learning and supporting technical assistance, and (4) provide assistance to the grant administrator, teacher, and learning team members as they implement their grant goals.
- EvidenceBased Practice
- The incumbent will conduct reviews of educational technology integration based practices by: (1) Determining the nature and extent of the information needed, selecting the most appropriate investigative methods or information retrieval systems, and evaluating information and its sources critically; (2) Preparing an annotated bibliography of selected sources that summarizes the central theme and scope of the book or article; and (3) Producing a summary and explanation of the complete and current state of knowledge on a selected topic (e.g. instructional approach) as found in academic books and journal articles.
- Research
- The incumbent will support K20 Center research initiatives through: (1) Completing the CITI certification program to ensure proper facilitation of socialbehavioral educational research with a focus on the protection of human subjects; (2) participating in research team meetings and assisting in implementing a research protocol with school partners; (3) facilitating documentation (surveys, assessments, and observations) of selected activities, behaviors, or outcomes and (4) Collaborating as a member of the writing team to disseminate the findings of the research team through scholarly publications or presentations.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or closely related field. AND;
- 24 months experience developing education products or related experience.

- 4 or more years of teaching preferably in a K12 classroom;
- Master’s Degree in an educationrelated field
- Experience as a team leader, department chair, curriculum coordinator, and/or Instructional Technology Coach;
- Demonstrated experience in development of curriculum and/or professional learning experiences for teachers.
- Demonstrated experience in working with technology and teachers in classroom setting and in trouble shooting technology problems
