Job Requirements

· Operate computers programmed with software (SAGE) to record, store, and analyze information.

· Match purchase order forms with invoices, and record the necessary information into SAGE

Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes. (Accounts Payable)

· Receive, record, and bank cash, checks, and vouchers. (HD Remittances, checks from customers, cash receipts, etc.) (Accounts Receivable)

· Clean up AR report from discounts, etc.

· Check to see if invoices have been received by HD (my.directcommerce.com)

· Prepare bank deposits by compiling data from cash box, verifying and balancing receipts, and sending cash, checks, or other forms of payment to banks. (AR)

· Calculate, prepare, and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial statements according to established procedures. (AR)

· Debit, credit, and total accounts in computer accounting software. (Credit Card transactions into SAGE) (AR)

· Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to vendor/customer accounts. (AP)

· Prepare checks for utilities, taxes, and other payments. (AP)

· Prepare and process payroll information through ADP. (Payroll)

· Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers. Code documents (Journal Entries) according to company General Ledger codes (Payroll Journal Entries)

· Reconcile records of bank statement transactions. (Month End)

Human Resources Responsibilities - Manage all aspect of the employment process, including orientation and training new staff members. Assist with payroll management and employee benefits. All other aspects of Human Resources.

Duties will include but are not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivables, customer invoicing, recording receipts and payments and producing monthly reports.

Requirements

Familiar with ADP, SAP/Sage

Two years of Accounting experience, preferred.

Pay: $49,028.00 - $54,028.00 per year
