Iron Horse Tools is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Oilfield Dispatcher at our Monahans, Texas location. The Dispatcher will communicate for all calls: coordinate requests, transmit messages, and track vehicles. This individual would enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information.

Responsibilities:

•Schedule Drivers and equipment according to Customer requests.

•Coordinate and communicate information to Drivers and organize and track relevant information according to Customer needs.

•Strong understanding of logistics and GPS fleet tracking software.

•Must have computer experience, understanding Microsoft Excel and Outlook a plus.

•Knowledge of the service area preferred

•Must be very organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and under pressure. Must be able to multitask and be a team player.

•Answer incoming calls and inquiries, maintaining and providing positive and effective customer service. Documents phone calls in the call log.

•Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all types of Employees and Customers.

•Maintain viable relationships with Customers at all times to ensure that Customer’s needs and concerns are taken care of in a timely and consistent manner

•Keep proper record of all jobs in the dispatch log according to established Company guidelines. Also, record any jobs turned down due to defective equipment or personnel.

•Ensure DOT hours of service compliance for all Drivers.

•Track Driver daily attendance and maintain Driver time cards.

•Responsible for collecting and pricing field tickets daily.

•Responsible for collecting Drivers’ time sheets.

• Distribute pre-numbered ticket books to Drivers as needed and maintain a log.

•Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work nights and weekends.

•Perform other related duties as assigned.

•Ability to prioritize calls according to urgency and importance

•Need to have experience and understanding of trucking and oilfield environment

•Ability to remain calm and composed

•Must be able to multitask

•Ability to take appropriate action with little supervision

•Results oriented and driven to complete customer jobs

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•Strong organizational skills

•Proficient computer and telephone skills

•High school diploma or equivalent educational certificate

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $18.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
