Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage a “pipeline” of Providers from offer acceptance up to being cleared to work independently
- Coordinate with the Clinical Management on progress for each new hire
- Responsible for initiating Credentialing requests for all new hires and ensuring that all approvals are in place before the Provider is cleared to work independently
- Assist and complete required I-9 document on Providers first day of employment
- Ensure that approved practitioner and physician candidates complete all online and company trainings in an efficient and timely manner
- Organize, schedule, and manage all other trainings that may be required for practitioner and physician candidates. This includes all standard / required training prior to beginning work and additional trainings that may become applicable after their start date
- Act as the primary line of communication for Provider new hires during the onboarding and training process
- Represent Optum in a professional and polished manner
- Other duties as assigned
In this role, the challenges are varied and the pace is fast. You'll need to work independently and be a problem solver as you you'll be working with a wide range of credentialing providers as well as assisting in provider relations, medical billing and quality management.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or 5 years of experience working in a fast-paced recruiting and/or Human Resource environment
- 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced recruiting and/or Human Resource environment
- Intermediate level of proficiency in Excel to include creating spreadsheets, working within spreadsheets and data entry

Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada or New York City Residents Only : The salary range for Colorado residents is $18.17 to $32.26. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada / New York City residents is $20.00 to $35.53. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
