SUMMARY
In this position the Goldbelt Nighthawk employee will maintain responsiveness to the tasking and guidance of the Marine Aviation Training System Site (MATSS) Officer-in-Charge (OIC) to assist the OIC and staff in the execution of daily MATSS operations. The primary role of the MATSS Operations Coordinator is to coordinate, prepare and distribute flight training device schedules and to maintain an on-site presence and availability to assist and provide information to staff, MATSS Users, other contractor personnel and any visitors as required.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Operations (50%)
  • Coordinate flight training device scheduling and deconfliction
  • Coordinate and maintain MATSS classroom reservation calendar
  • Prepare and distribute flight training device schedules
  • Assist the MATSS OIC and staff with operational tasks as required
  • Coordinate with NAVAIR COR, engineering (ISEO), and maintenance (COMS) personnel as required
  • Participate in MATSS Operations meetings as required
  • Schedule and execute VIP visits to the MATSS.
  • Administration (30%)
  • Validate personnel security clearances and coordinate for building access as required
  • Maintain access rosters for MATSS Spaces
  • Draft local MATSS operations-related documentation as required
  • Track ServMart and open purchase requests as required
  • Track facility maintenance trouble tickets as required
  • Technical (20%)
  • Train local aircrew and operations specialists on aviation training processes and procedures as required
  • Administer and maintain information systems (within capability/capacity) in the absence of the MATSS Network Administrator
  • Research, identify and make recommendations pertaining to local resource requirements
  • Other tasks may be assigned/accomplished provided they do not prohibitively interfere with the primary responsibilities as outlined above

Qualifications:
NECESSARY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Intermediate to advanced computing skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills and professionalism
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals at all levels in a large, complex, military organization as well as the ability to work with senior leadership in a corporate environment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience, skills)

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum three (3) or more years in an Operations Coordination or Administrative Role
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD TOP SECRET Clearance
The salary range for this position is $75,000.00-$85,000.00 Annually.
