SUMMARY: This position serves as the backup for the positions within the Human Resources & Operations Department and is responsible for supporting the Human Resources & Operations Manager with complex and specialized administrative tasks and assisting with audits and compliance reviews.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provides back up to the Mail Room Processor, Front Desk Administrator, and Operations Assistant meeting the daily expectations of those positions.
· Maintains the wellness bulletin board by researching monthly awareness and providing information to support employee wellness and awareness.
· Provides support in creating and updating job descriptions, annual performance appraisals, forms, and policies.
· Provides clerical or administrative assistance on special projects, as needed.
· Assists with the onboarding processes of new hires.
· Assists to prepare information required for record audits, mandatory reports, and other compliance reviews.
· Assists with the planning and execution of company events.
· Ordering repairs for office equipment and maintenance, connecting with and escorting vendors.
· General housekeeping and seasonal decorating of the conference rooms, lobby, reception, and break room areas.
· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Certificates, licenses and registrations required: NONE
· Computer skills required: Internet Software; Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook); Presentation Software (PowerPoint).
· Other skills required:
o Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and employees.
o Must have the ability to multi-task, work independently and problem solve.
o Prior administrative experience within an office setting or Human Resources is preferred.
