Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re an Operations Supervisor, we have an exciting opportunity for you. As part of the Industrial Global Projects & Services team, the Panel Shop/ Operations Supervisor will oversee and direct panel shop fabricators and electrical assemblers.

The Panel Shop Supervisor is responsible for establishing a safe and efficient work environment as well as ensuring that electrical cabinets, panels, and other assigned components are completed on schedule while meeting applicable drawing / certification requirements. The supervisor must have a strong working knowledge of electrical schematics, electrical components, electrical troubleshooting, electrical codes, and best practices.

What you will be doing…

  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining departmental and individual goals and performance measures.
  • Ensure members adhere to all work instructions and quality requirements.
  • Develops and manages department workload, training, and staffing requirements.
  • Solve complex problems, work on multiple projects simultaneously in a manufacturing environment
  • Plan and coordinate the current and prospective project schedules with Panel Shop Lead(s) and Program Management
  • Work with Project Engineering and Program Management to resolve any issues encountered during the assembly process

What We Are Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Two- or Four-year degree in related discipline desired
  • 1+ year previous leadership experience required
  • 1+ year experience in panel/cabinet wiring required
  • Ability to read electrical prints / schematics
  • Must be familiar with general control system wiring techniques
  • Proficiency with industrial electric codes and practices including UL (UL508A, UL 698A, etc.), NEC, IEC, ANSI, and OSHA
  • Ability to work with moderate guidance and supervision from leader or more senior level peers.
