TOC Eye, The Ophthalmic Center has been in practice for over 40 years. We are a practice that prides ourselves on treating our patients and staff like family. No experience needed. We will train you! We are seeking full-time dedicated Ophthalmic Technicians looking for growth and advancement in the field.

Responsibilities include:

• Intake of patient's information, (obtaining complaint, medical/ocular history, medications, allergies and drug reactions)

• Performing a work up, which consists of manual refractions, confrontation field testing, glare testing, visual acuity testing, peripheral vision, depth perception, color perception and measuring intraocular pressure.

• Apply drops to anesthetize, dilate or medicate eyes

• Knowledge and use of Ophthalmic diagnostic equipment.

• Scribing (accurately documenting Doctors findings from examination of the patient)

• Assisting in minor surgical procedures.

• Monitoring of patient flow while in the lanes.

Maintaining confidentiality and having a professional demeanor at all times.

Requirements:

• Being able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• Computer literate.

• Ophthalmic clinical background A++

• Ability to manage your tasks in a timely fashion.

• Must hold a positive attitude with patients and colleagues.

• Must be a team player.

Education:

High School Diploma/equivalency, required
