Kennedy Vision P.A. doing business as The Family Eye Site is a local family optometry office and optical. We are looking for someone for optical sales and ophthalmic technician which is responsible for selling, fitting and dispensing eyewear to customers and managing paperwork . Helping schedule patients and answering questions for patients keeping track of files and helps with optical related billing and processing orders and pretesting patients and teaching patients contact lens insertion and removal and contact lens sales.

• Meet The Family Eye Site sales and company objectives.
• Follow The Family Eye Sites commitment to 5 star customer satisfaction by creating a warm and welcoming environment for customers.
• Assist with dispensing eyeglasses and contact lenses to customers.
• Educate clients on proper eyeglass and contact lens care.
• Pretesting patients and training with contact lens insertion and removal.
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records which is a critical part of the job.
• Assist in scheduling patients and answering patient questions about orders over the phone or in person.
• Effectively manage time to meet sales goals and help with optical ordering and maintaining well kept records to effectively submit orders and optical insurance claims and selling contacts.

Position Requirements:

• Fluent in reading and speaking English and fluent speaking Spanish is required
• Previous optical retail sales experience or private optical sales experience required.
• 3 years of optical or technician experience preferred.
• Strong selling skills, aimed at meeting both The Family Eye Site's goals and self-sales targets, by following company policies.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Able to give instruction in a clear and concise manner to customers.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Detailed oriented.
• Multitasking and time-management skills.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Good punctuality is a must.
• Pretesting patients and training with contact lenses is required
