Full time Optometrist needed near Jacksonville, FL
Great opportunity to join an outstanding practice in Atlantic coastal FL and very convenient to Amelia Island and Jacksonville, FL. Large population
growth, great cost of living and less than 30 minutes north of Jacksonville, FL
. Able to practice a medical/primary care model- glaucoma and also high volume of contact lenses work
. Typical hours are 8:30-5 each day- 5 day work week, 2 Saturdays a month(1/2 day)- always a Saturday/Sunday off or Sunday/Monday off
. OD would be a leaseholder- Retail side takes care of everything- appointments, filing insurances, etc.
. State of the art equipment that includes: OCT, Fundus, Visual fields- all digital equipment
. Optometrist set up as a LLC- can easily earn in the 250K-300K range. O.D. keeps all exam revenues
. Start date can be immediate or summer of 2023- very open to new or experienced O.D.’s
Requirements: O.D. with an active FL license: Excellent clinical and communication skills and thrives in a team environment.
