Out Of School Instructor Job at Mad Science of Pittsburgh
Mad Science of Pittsburgh is seeking a part-time Out of School Time Instructor. Responsibilities include preparing materials for programs and teaching in a classroom at various elementary schools throughout the area. Perfect for students looking for real classroom experience. No science background needed.
Hours are 2:00pm-6:00pm, Monday through Thursday. Pay is $20 per hour.
Our offices are located in Millvale, but our After School Programs occur in many different elementary schools in the area. This job will place you in a classroom everyday conducting a class for up to 25 students. You will also have administrative duties and assist with the preparation of upcoming programs. Opportunities for advancement and additional programming are available.
Required:
A desire to work with children in grades K-5
Reliable transportation
Light lifting
All appropriate clearances (PA State, PA Child Abuse History, and FBI Clearances)
Current TB Test Results (Optional)
Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training (Optional)
Protecting God's Children Clearance (Optional)
