As a Warehouse Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our fulfillment process. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pack orders for shipment, ensuring that products are protected and ready for delivery to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare orders for shipment by carefully selecting and packing items according to order specifications and company standards.
- Utilize packaging materials efficiently to ensure safe transportation of products.
- Verify order accuracy and completeness by double-checking item codes, quantities, and customer information.
- Label packages correctly with shipping labels, barcodes, and other required documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that supplies are well-stocked and easily accessible.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily packing targets and achieve operational goals.
- Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damaged items, or packaging issues to supervisors.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, shipping software and basic computer skills.
- Reliable team player with good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
