Looking to hire EXPERIENCED FAMILY LAW paralegal or legal assistant for part time position for small, but busy, firm. MUST HAVE 3 years RECENT experience in family law. Please DO NOT apply if you have not had a minimum of 3 years experience as a paralegal or legal assistant. Experience in adoption law a plus. Pay will be based on experience. Strong communication and organization skills required. Must be a team player and have the ability to multitask easily. All candidates must submit a resume with references. Notary a plus. If not a notary, must be able to become one. Must have clean driving record. Position requires background screen.
Responsibilities include: Client interaction, case management, draft petitions, motions, responses, child support worksheets. Familiarity with family law software, Clio legal billing program experience a plus. Other paralegal functions as needed. Average of 24 hours per week: 8 hours 3 times a week. Weekdays chosen are flexible but must be consistent once chosen.
