Corporate Work Study PACE Van Driver Needed in Waukegan, IL.!
Cristo Rey St. Martin College Prep serves students of limited means in the Waukegan/North Chicago area. All students work in Corporate Work Study jobs.
Job Description: Transport students to and from their Corporate Work Study assignments using 14 passenger PACE vans. Drivers arrive at Cristo Rey St. Martin no later than 7:15 AM to depart at 7:30 AM to take students to their jobs around Lake/Cook /Kenosha Counties. Return Pace Van to Cristo Rey St. Martin, usually between 9-10am. Return at 3:00 PM to depart to pick students up from their work assignments and return them to Cristo Rey St. Martin, usually arriving between 5-5:30pm.
Requirements: Clean driving record (no more than 2 driving tickets) and be able to become PACE certified. Must pass a Department of Transportation physical and drug test (CRSM pays for expenses), subject to random drug testing and annual physicals. Must attend Mandatory Reporter and Virtus training (Catholic Archdiocese), Must pass a background check, be fingerprinted and attend PACE training (will receive compensation for time).
An ideal candidate will be prompt, reliable and flexible and must able to communicate via modern technology (Email/text/apps)
Compensation: Is based on route/shift on days school is in session. Routes may be available on school holidays and over the summer, with a potential for extra work occasionally.
