Part-time Post Closing Assistant – Valdosta, GA

Job Description

Coleman Talley LLP has an immediate opening in our Valdosta, GA office location. We are seeking a part-time post-closing assistant

to support the firm’s residential real estate department. Experience with real estate transactions is preferred. Salary is commensurate

with experience. The successful candidate would have no less than two years’ experience in a professional office environment.

Job Duties 
Submission of funding documents to lender for approval 
Coordinate funding after closings 
E-file deeds using the GSCCCA Website and Simplifile 
Draft Final Title Opinions and Final Title Policies using Qualia software 
Mail recorded documents and title documents to buyers and lenders 
Scan and save all documents using NetDocuments software 
Communicate with lenders and clients by email and by phone 
Draft Quit Claim Deeds and Security Deed Cancellations 
Research liens and open security deeds using the GSCCCA Website 
Request deed cancellations from lenders 
Review closings for completeness; scan completed file to NetDocuments software

Proficiency in Word,

Microsoft Outlook, Adobe,

and Excel 
