Details:

• We are looking for a Part-Time Pharmacist that works a hybrid schedule in both our retail pharmacy and compounding lab department.
• Hours per week: between 18 and 25 per week
• Schedule: One shift per week in the pharmacy (Tuesday 11 AM to 8 PM), and one shift per week in the compounding lab (Wednesday 9 AM to 5 PM). Also, work every 5th weekend, which will include Friday (11 AM to 8 PM), Saturday (9 AM to 7 PM), and Sunday (10 AM to 5 PM)
• There will be opportunities to pick-up additional PRN shifts for covering other pharmacist PTO, if available to cover
• Duties include: Leading a pharmacy team of pharmacy technicians and trainees, and pharmacist interns. Providing great customer service to patients and community. Problem solving, critical thinking, and being proactive in taking care of patients.

• Reliable, honest, personable, and hard working.
• Licensed Pharmacist with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
• Exceptional communication skills with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to multitask and perform gracefully under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to adapt to change and utilize technology.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Understand and Implement USP 795 guidelines
• Final Verification of Compounded preparations
• Verification of new formulas and entering in new formulas into PK compounding software
• Verification and transcription of compounded medications from provider's offices.
• Effective management of two separate teams of technicians in our retail and compounding department.

We are an independent family-owned retail pharmacy that is looking to change the profession of pharmacy and the way that people think about a pharmacy. We have a great team of pharmacists, technicians, and pharmacist interns that work in our store.
