JOB SUMMARY:

Supervised Visitation Workers are responsible for transporting children to supervised visitation with their parents, siblings, or other family members. Workers are responsible for supervising the visit and ensuring a safe and positive visiting experience.

SALARY: $16.00-17.00 per hour

WORK LOCATION & HOURS: Office is located in Oshkosh, WI. Hybrid model of time spent primarily out in the community with some time spend at the office or remote for documentation. Part-time hours vary as workers will coordinate schedules directly with clients. During the school year, evenings and/or weekends are preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize knowledge of child development to conduct safe, supervised visits with family members. Visits must be positive and interactive.
  • Monitor child/family interaction during visitation.
  • Redirect families and provide feedback, as needed.
  • Safely transport individuals to and from visits.
  • Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for clients in emergency and crisis situations.
  • Provide factual documentation per program standards and within established timeframes.
Requirements:
  • Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, a valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance.
  • Experience involving childcare or social work is preferred.
