Intrepid Powerboats manufacturers high quality semi-custom boats from 24’ – 48’. We are a 30+ year stable company with extensive demand for boats within our iconic brand. We are looking for a Parts Associate to join our TEAM at the sales office located in Dania Beach, Florida. What to Expect:

The parts associate is responsible for overseeing the parts and accessories department, inventory management, and vendor relationships. The position also includes selling parts needed over the counter to outside vendors and customers. The parts associate is responsible for providing support to the Service Manager and Service staff. Responsibilities include providing customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the parts department through receiving, stocking and distributing equipment and parts to other departments. The Parts Associate is responsible for all returns for customers and technicians. Returns are to be labeled with Vessel hull number Part description and cause of failure. The parts associate will work with Vendors for warranty credit or disposal of parts.

What You’ll Do:

Including but not limited to the following:

• Provide excellent customer service. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to determine their parts needs
• Acts as a liaison between the parts department and other store operations.
• Adhere to established parts inventory levels and balance them for maximum turnover determined by Team Support.
• Perform stocking, issuing, receiving and inventory control functions including cycle counts.
• Sort and place materials and parts on racks, shelves, or in bins.
• Complete order form and place orders with vendors and manufacturers as directed by Service Manager.
• Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved or distributed.
• Maintain good working relationships with factory and vendors as they relate to product and quality control.
• Place orders for special order parts as required
• Inform technicians and customers on arrival of special-order parts.
• Carefully check invoices against work orders.
• Coordinate and execute a physical inventory bi-annually
• Assist Service Manager, Service Advisors and technicians to ensure timely turnaround of parts to be utilized for work orders.
• Assist customers by phone, internet, and in person with price quotes and parts sales.
• Maintain an orderly, clean, and professional parts area

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
