Summary:
Functions as lead Pathology Service Representative for the on-boarding/support of internal/external clients requesting Pathology services. Functions as a lead for Digital Pathology services and In-house Molecular test processing. Provides direct support and tracking of internal/external requests utilizing worklists, dashboards, and various communication/tracking tools. Performs all the duties of a Pathology Service Representative I and II which includes, but is not limited to the processing of requests for the intake and release of Pathology material for internal or external review/testing. Handles correspondence requests for the tracking/status of material requests via phone, mail, fax, and information system requests.
Starting salary for this position is $51,986 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in a Healthcare discipline; or
2. Associate's degree in a Healthcare discipline and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in a comparable medical/clinical setting; or
3. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time experience in a comparable medical/clinical setting.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have experience in Digital Pathology (Aperio AT2 & Roche DP200), prior experience in Anatomic Pathology, and experience in molecular pathology test processing.
